1st of all, RIP. Hopefully he's in a better place. Where he no longer has to worry about the massive debt he was in, the health problems, & getting big time dissed by Leno & Conan. They've dissed Jacko more than Eminem did but lots of people are brainwashed not to believe so. Major icon, there won't ever be another Jacko for many years. Maybe every. Its a shame he never got a chance to make a comeback & get out of debt & I felt he would've too.
Just had to be Jacko who was the 3rd to die in that period :( You know what they say death famous people wise comes in 3's. Kinda like betrayal in sports & wrestling in few week period. Ed McMahon, no longer has to worry about his domestic situation, Farrah Fawcett, now a music icon.
Right now, you think all the songs he did, all the people/music artists who were inspired by him. This may sound messed up but I hope this doesn't make Kanye West name drop him anymore than he already does. Or maybe its just me that it seems like Kanye name drops Michael Jackson a whole lot.

before i say what i'm about to say, i just want to clarify that if i died, i would want nothing more than for people to laugh when thinking of me; no matter the reason.
that being said, when i saw the story online, all of the related stories had headlines like "Michael Jackson has touched many children's lives" and things like that. RIP MJ, and know that we are laughing (hopefully with you).

I'm not laughing.
It's sad that he left in 50.
A lot of people grew up on his music.
