Network Error When Downloading on Chrome?

For some reason I have trouble downloading from any file hosting sites other than Mediafire. Every time I try to download on say, sendspace.com the download starts lasts maybe 10 minutes tops and then comes up and says network error and the file deletes itself. Now I tried to use IE and the download also stops prematurely and is corrupt. Anyone heard of this happening often?

Can't say i have. Maybe it is some problem with your network itself ?

Could be possible. I need to download a few files but can't because of this

unninstal google chrome, after restart, delete all temporary data including google chrome folders left after unninstal (some of them are hidden) , make clean install of chrome again.

I've had this problem before.
Go to computer right click on your Drive where windows is installed, click properties, tools and click Check now under "Error-checking"
Then restart your computer.
